The Book of Fate

1. This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.

2. You may enter this competition up to 499 times.

3. A maximum of tickets may be claimed per order.

4. You will be randomly allocated your ticket number(s) when entering and will receive an email confirmation.

5. The total number of tickets available for this competition is 50000.

6. Entry is available by purchasing tickets online or through the free postal entry route set out in Chaotic’s general Terms and Conditions. All valid paid and free entries will be treated equally. You must have a registered Chaotic account, and the details provided must correspond with the details registered to your account.

7. The draw will take place on Mon Aug 17 20:30:00, regardless of the number of entries received.

8. The competition page forms part of these Rules and sets out the opening and closing dates, entry limits, available instant-win and main-draw prizes, and any competition-specific requirements.

9. Each eligible ticket will be allocated fairly and randomly. Where a ticket has been allocated an instant-win prize, the result will be displayed after entry. An instant-win prize may be a cash prize or a Book of Fate prize. Players who find a Book of Fate will receive the opportunity to play the Book of Fate live game, as explained on the competition page and in Rule 10 below.

10. To claim and play a Book of Fate prize, the player must post their winning ticket in the Chaotic Facebook group. A Chaotic host will contact the player to arrange a time for them to phone into a live broadcast on the Chaotic Facebook page and Twitch.

11. During the live game, the player must select exactly three books, one at a time and without replacement. All three selected books must be opened. At the start of each player’s game, the library will contain: 2 x £50 Cash, 2 x £75 Cash, 2 x £100 Cash, 2 x £125 Cash, 2 x £150 Cash, 2 x £200 Cash, 2 x £250 Cash, 1 x DOUBLE IT and 1 x HALF IT. Cash amounts are added to the player’s running total in the order selected. DOUBLE IT doubles the running total at that point and HALF IT reduces the running total by half at that point. The order in which the books are selected therefore affects the final prize. After all three books have been opened, the resulting total will be the player’s final cash prize, up to a maximum of £1,000. The library will be reset to the full allocation listed above before each Book of Fate winner plays.

12. Unless otherwise stated on the competition page, all eligible tickets—including tickets that receive an instant-win prize or a Book of Fate prize—will be included in the £200 cash main draw.

13. The live main draw will take place on the Chaotic Facebook page and Twitch. TrueNorth RNG (Random Number Generator) will be used to select one winning ticket number from all eligible entries. The prize will be awarded in accordance with the laws of chance.

14. Winners may be required to provide information or documentation confirming their identity, age, eligibility and compliance with these Rules and Chaotic’s general Terms and Conditions.

15. Chaotic may void entries or withhold a prize where there is evidence of fraud, multiple accounts, automated entry, manipulation, ineligibility or a breach of these Rules or Chaotic’s general Terms and Conditions.

16. By entering, you agree to these Rules, the information shown on the competition page and Chaotic’s general Terms and Conditions. Personal information will be processed in accordance with Chaotic’s Privacy Policy.

17. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Twitch, Apple, Google, or any brand, manufacturer, retailer or other third party featured, referenced or associated with the competition or its prize, unless expressly stated otherwise.
