Changing the Narrative: Chaoss’ £19,000 Donation Fuels Rockits SEN’s Inclusive Mission

Chaotic is thrilled to announce a £19,000 donation to Rockits SEN, helping them bring their vision of ‘creating an inclusive world where all children can grow, play, and thrive’ to life. This donation is a step toward making that dream a reality for countless children.

We first came across Rockits’ inspiring work on Facebook in early November and immediately felt drawn to the cause. After connecting with Beth, who shared that her autistic son was the inspiration behind starting Rockits—a mission very close to our CEO Shana’s heart—we knew we had to visit their space in Kent. At the time, the space was still under construction, but the incredible potential was already clear. With the official launch just days away, and after learning about the funding challenges they faced, we knew we had to step in and help. We decided to make a one-time donation of £19,000 to support the completion of the project.

This generous donation covered key elements of the project: padded flooring, security features (including an electric gate and fencing), kitchen units, plumbing, LED lighting, and sensory equipment such as a space-themed sensory pod, a bubble tube, and ten sensory bags.

In addition to the one-time donation, we committed to supporting Rockits with a £700 monthly contribution to help sustain the ongoing costs of their twice-weekly SEN parents’ coffee club. This ensures that the coffee club continues to provide a much-needed, supportive space for parents, allowing them to build lasting connections, share experiences, and gain strength from one another. The SEND room is also open for free use throughout these sessions, creating a relaxed and supportive environment for parents to take a break or chat without any concerns about their child’s safety.
